Classic, final shape

This is the final shape of the Classic model, an updated tele in short. The main characteristics I'd say are the volume, tone and switch differently placed from the standard design, 25" scale length, 16" radius, 22 frets, body comfort cuts, plait less heel cut for high access to the high frets. This particular one spots a two pieces ash body, maple neck with snakewood fretboard, brass frets, brass nut, will have a brass bridge, gold locking tuners, Seymour Duncan Custom Shop pick ups Little '59 mini humbaker on the bridge position and Hot on the neck position, gold Schaller strap locks. The finish is very thin nitrocellulose Antique Burst with open pores. You can not only see the deep pores veins tipicle of the Ashbut you can feel it too

Basses

I've started works on 3 basss, the design is based on the Jazz Bass but with little differences, one has a mahogany body, a 5 splices maple/ mahogany neck and ebony fret board. The second a ash body with a one piece walnut neck and the third a 3 layers body with figured Sapele top and back and English pine core, this will be a hollow body with an F hole. The neck will be 5 splices mahogany/ maple.
This is the mahogany body
This is the ash body
And this is the Sapele & Pine thineline body
First one almost done, the other two not so far behind. On the first I will spray the body and neck this week and wind a middle pick up. I'll use the Seymour Duncan Hot in the picture for the Ash body one.

The first bass being test driven by my friend Mark Johnson of Johnner's amplification who I make beautiful amps with. A stunning instrument! More pics will follow

New Shredder 7 strings

This is a project that's been rolling on and off on spare time for about a year. It's now nearing completion build wise. Mahogany body with carved Ash top, 5 splices neck Maple Mahogany with 2 ways truss rod and 2 carbon fibre reinforcement bars. Ebony fret board, 24 stainless steel frets, 27" scale length. I will make a Brass fixed bridge, locking tuners, steel nut. The neck will have a thin c shape and is deep set with very good access to the high frets. 1 volume, 1 tone, 1 3 way blade switch. Pick ups wise. I'm thinking Duncans Black Winter bridge and Sentinent neck but not set in stone as jet.
